Make sure when someone interacts with your page or group that you follow-up quickly and consistently so your followers and fans see that you’re active on that platform.

What’s your marketing goals? Determine the best approach to content and hashtags you use based on that goal.
6. Plan your content ahead with a calendar
Use a social planning calendar to plan & schedule your content in advance to keep your audience engaged & to ensure you’re consistent in when you post.
7. Engage with others online
Social media is for conversations so make sure you consistently take the time to reach out & connect with your followers & potential new fans regularly.
8. Define your brand voice
Make sure your brand voice is distinctive & consistent to reinforce your brand identity. You want your followers to understand who you are, not get confused by conflicting messages.
9. Promote your social channels
Although social channels will get you followers – you should also be promoting your profiles on other marketing channels (ie: your website, industry blog posts or tweets that are relevant to your industry – respond/retweet them).
10. Monitor your social presence with analytics
